Overview
The Mardi Himal Trek is one of Nepal's most beautiful short treks in the Annapurna region. It offers spectacular close-up views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Mardi Himal while requiring only 5 days of trekking from Pokhara. The route passes through dense rhododendron forests, ridgelines, alpine meadows, and high mountain viewpoints before reaching Mardi Himal Base Camp at around 4,500 m. The trek is often chosen as a quieter alternative to the Annapurna Base Camp trek because it follows a ridge trail with fewer crowds and continuous mountain views.
